Often, when a functionality of a product changes, Microsoft is less elaborate in it’s communication. That’s why a large part of the world is not aware of these changes. Especially when old PowerPoint and product overviews are still online.

This is very confusing and damages the reputation of Microsoft. Often, Microsoft partners have to explain this new situation to their customers.
